For some time now the National Trust have been keen to connect with a younger audience.
Looks like they have now, albeit via a non-official ‘leaked’ YouTube video.
It’s absolutely genius. And slightly #Hawkward.
As much as I would love it to be part of an official marketing campaign, a friend of mine who works at the National Trust HQ informs me that no, it’s not from them – but yes, they too find it hilarious. She says it’s been ‘causing quite a stir!’
Apparently it’s quite ‘on message’ …Created by a rogue member of the marketing team perhaps? [My conjecture.] If not, the National Trust need to give its creator a job.
